Using period in pull request name results in POST error, not displayed on page

When trying to create a pull request with periods in the name the post returns with an error, but the error is not displayed on the page.

Using Chrome Version 28.0.1500.95 on Ubuntu 12.04

    Hi David,

    I did some testing and I was not able to reproduce the error with pull requests containing a period.

    Looking at the image, it appears that while you were creating the pull request the commit that the branch atom-dev was pointing to changed and caused the error.
