Selecting Merge Pull Request merges the request, but then logs it as Declined (BB-9675)

Christine Higgins avatarChristine Higgins created an issue

For the last week now, this has been happening to my colleagues and I intermittently.

We select 'Merge' The popup to merge comes up. Select to continue. Loader comes up for a bit Screen reloads and the Pull Request is classified as Declined But if you look at the the commit history, there is commit for the pull request merge.

This has happened to 3 of our users now and we have multiple examples of this in our deployment. Please let me know what additional info would be helpful to you.

Can we move this to support and could you send us the details of the repository, the PRs involved and the commits that you didn't expect to see?

You can contact support by emailing us on support@bitbucket.org and mention this issue.

Quick update: I've tracked this down to a bug on our end and we're working on fixing it.

Until that time I can tell you that this does not negatively affect the merge of the PR itself. It "merely" ends up saying it was declined, even though it wasn't.
