Issue #8722 duplicate

Markdown parsing for README handles "++" oddly

Marshall Pierce

I created a simple test case. See the readme for:

https://bitbucket.org/marshallpierce/bitbucket-markdown-parsing-bug

It appears that ++ is being transformed into <ins> ... </ins>. This is undocumented both in the official Markdown documentation and on Bitbucket's own Markdown demo page, as far as I can tell. If this is intentional, can you please document it? If not, leave my poor ++'s alone. :)
