    Hi kieranajp,

This actually appears to be correct. Bitbucket plans allow shared access for 5 users across all of your repositories. If you have a private repository that is shared with 2 people, and another private repository that is shared with 3 different people, that would count for 5 users.

You can go to your Plans and Billing page to see which users have access to any repository on your account (or for your team). Please see our documentation as well.

We do want to make sure this is not confusing, so we will look at some additional ways to make this more clear.

    Cheers,
    Michael

Thanks for the reply Michael, I understand the limitations of the free plan now. I agree though that it could be more clear.

Cheers, and thanks again for the speedy response

Hi, I have the same problem, but even if a remove a user for the repository, I still get this message. Can you confirm that the removing of a user on a repository is not taken into account ? Thanks, Claude

    Hi Claude,

It is possible that the user you removed from the repository has access to another repository on your account, and so is still counting towards your plan.

The best way to confirm this is to go to your Plans and Billing page and check the users with access.

If you are still having issues, please email us at support@bitbucket.org and we will look into it.

    Cheers, Brian
