As a user, I would like to be able to escape the @ symbol to prevent it mentioning a user (BB-11091)

I'm trying to add some documentation for one of my projects and in it I'm
adding example code that references the @property and @classmethod Python
decorators. Problem is the @classmethod part is being converted to a link
to the user "classmethod" with the text "AWS Solution Division".
Is there a way to prevent this? I tried placing them in inline code blocks:
@classmethod but it still happens.
