The remote end hung up unexpectedly.

I tried git config --global http.postBuffer 52428800. Still the problem persists.
fatal: "The remote end hung up unexpectedly."
fatal: index-pack failed.

I even tried git clone --depth 1 repo.git and turned off the compression too. I went with this page(http://jinsucraft.wordpress.com/2013/01/08/when-github-git-clone-fails-with-early-eof-and-index-pack-failed/) as someone suggested.
It still shows the same error.

If someone can help.
