"Merge changes" info window gives you wrong information about last step (BB-11911)

As you can see on screenshot
last step to finish updating my fork repo is

#!bash

git merge remotes/origin/master

but when I try it this didn't show me any changes so I've change remotes/origin/master to remotes/bytech-ca/webcourses/master and this solve my problem. I think this is a bug in instruction. If no then please explain me why. Thanks!
