remote: error: insufficient permission for adding an object to repository database objects

As with some of the other tickets here, one of my developers here is not able to push his code now:

git push origin some-branch
Counting objects: 39, done.
Delta compression using up to 2 threads.
Compressing objects: 100% (17/17), done.
Writing objects: 100% (21/21), 1.70 KiB | 0 bytes/s, done.
Total 21 (delta 12), reused 0 (delta 0)
remote: error: insufficient permission for adding an object to repository database objects
remote: fatal: failed to write object
error: unpack failed: unpack-objects abnormal exit
To git@bitbucket.org:reissjira/reiss.git

He was able to push fine until 2 hours ago.
We have tried various things and checked locally all permissions.
The error says it's a remote permissions issue which suggests it's at the Bitbucket end?
