Markdown rendered with span class="err" (BB-13628)

Issue #11438 closed
Former user created an issue

Hi, there are a couple of places where source code in my Markdown gets rendered with <span class="err"> surrounding it. For example:

Test

POST /api/a
GET /api/b
POST /api/c
GET /api/d
PUT /api/e
POST /api/f
DELETE /api/g

And the same block as a snippet.

What's causing the red highlighting? I'm pretty sure this is properly formatted Markdown.

It looks like Pygments thinks those tokens are errors, but I'm not totally sure why.

I won't be able to dig in right now, but as a workaround the "triple tick" (```) syntax seems to work ok.

I am still seeing this. As an example, the following 4-space indented text is rendered as an error with red background:

    POST /api/email/forward

    POST /api/email/forward/async
