Unable to Load Branches and Tags

I'm unable to select feature branches from within Source. The drop down displays the following message: Unable to load branches and tags

My colleague is working in the same repo and is unable to reproduce the behavior.

Also, I see this across all of our repositories. I can browse to branches, but I cannot switch branches from the Source tab.
