Snippets are created with wrong version control system (BB-14508)

If you create a snippet and select to use mercurial, mercurial will be selected by default for the next snippet you create. However, the snippet will still be created using git.

Only if you change it back to git, then back to mercurial again, will it actually use mercurial.

Also, trying to " raise a new support request from our support page" gives me a login screen where my login and password apparently don't work.
