Webhook fails to establish SSL connection with comodo cert

Our webhooks have failed to establish connections to our jenkins master over SSL. The master is behind an ELB in AWS which is hosting a valid comodo cert.

Simply changing the webhook's endpoint from HTTPS to -> HTTP resolves the issue (see screenshot, bottom attempt is over HTTPS and the top two successful attempts are over HTTP).
