Unnecessary dashes placed in front of `cite` elements when using backticks in rst

For source files in Restructured Text format, Bitbucket source browser shows interpreted text (text between backwards apostrophes) in italic (which is fine) and with a long dash before the text (which is somewhat weird as the source text does not contain dashes there, and also other ResT viewers do not show any dashes).
