Commit Log Bug

I was able to make only one successful commit out of several failed attempts due to a "non-fast forward" error.But even when there is a failed commit , bitbucket commit log shows all attempts of commit by user (even the unsuccessful ones) which is very confusing. Someone care to fix this bug??
