Number lists - 3. changes to 1.

Issue #12474 invalid
Shaun Anderson
created an issue

When I start a number list, and type 1. something <enter>, then 2. something <enter>, then 3. something <enter>, BitBucket changes 3. to 1.

is there a known workaround for this or it just needs to be fixed?

Oh I see what I'm doing wrong. It thinks it's a new list because I have too many paragraph breaks between the numbers.

    1. Item 1

    2. Item 2

More description about Item 2, but with paragraphs in between. I will try to do 3. for the next item.

    1. If the bug has replicated properly, then this will say 1. not 3. as I would have preferred.

List items may consist of multiple paragraphs. Each subsequent paragraph in a list item must be indented by either 4 spaces or one tab:

    1. Item 1
    2. Item 2

More description about item 2, but with paragraphs in between.

    3. Item 3
