Unable to save valid project avatar if invalid file is tried first

If an invalid file is dragged onto the avatar upload dialog, an error is shown. If a valid file is subsequently dragged onto the dialog, it will show up but clicking "Save" doesn't do anything. Refreshing the page and retrying with the valid file works as expected.
