    Description

Reproducible docker builds use Git LFS to store binary files instead of downloading them in the net always (as it happens, e.g. Oracle JDK download is did not work last week).

Pipelines does not support building docker containers directly, but we use a hack that a pipeline creates a tar.gz and sends that file somewhere else to be build. Now we noticed, that pipelines git command does not support LFS, and we'd have to use complicated hacks to make it work with AWS ECR custom images.

The combination of lack of Git LFS and Docker container support makes us to consider something more improved like GitLabs CI, or even AWS code commit.
