Trying to view a branch/pull request diff with a large amount of image files creates a pretty large memory and performance impact, causing the browser to freeze or crash (BBCDEV-3604)

When a branch or pull request diff contains a large number of image files, JS is being loaded and executed multiple times for each image on the diff, which creates a pretty large memory and performance impact on diffs containing a lot of images – and causing the browser to freeze and crash.
