Description
Disabling notifications in account settings also blocks receiving transfer requests, and the "initiator" of the transfer is left wondering why nothing is happening.
If notifications are disabled, the settings page says this:
#!python Currently you only receive password reset and important account information by email.
I think transfer requests should be classified as "important account information", and not affected by notification settings (I feel notification settings are mostly to prevent spamming, but these shouldn't count).
