Lines of tabbed code misaligned in diff

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Add a line of code to a file that is indented with tabs.
2. Commit.
3. Navigate to the changed file /<team>/<project>/commits/<commit_id>?

Expected Behaviour:

The new line of code will be visually aligned with its surrounding lines.

The new line of code appears to be indented an extra space.
