If a user's full name in their Atlassian account contains characters from non-latin alphabets, then invitations do not get sent

Summary

If a user's full name in their Atlassian account contains characters from non-latin alphabets (e.g. 'ö', their invitations to other users do not get sent.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Edit your Full Name in your Atlassian account to include a character from a non-latin alphabet (e.g. ö)
2. Go to a repo of yours in Bitbucket >> Settings >> User and group access
3. In 'Users', type an email to invite (that has no Bitbucket account yet)

Expected Results

The email entered in step # 3 above gets an invitation

Actual Results

No invitation is sent to that email.
In Chrome, if you open 'Developer Tools' >> 'Console', you will see a 500 error
