Reset password placeholder still says "Username or email"

Bitbucket no longer allows password reset via username. However, the placeholder at the password reset screen still says "Username or email". When a username is used, the following error is thrown: "We couldn't find an account matching that e-mail address. Are you sure you've registered?"

    Username should still work for Bitbucket users that have not yet upgraded to Atlassian account. Users who have upgraded need to use email address.

    That said, this is not clear, and we need to fix the error message.
