    Description

As a BitBucket user, I would love the option to be able to use my repositories as node packages.

Currently, using GIT-based linking, NPM only supports one root-level package.json file. This is great, unless your repository hosts a number of dynamically generated node packages (such as Ionic Native).

This seems to be the trend with JavaScript libraries – entire libraries are being sliced into modular NPM packages in order to reduce the amount of unused code a client needs.

Currently, NPM offers a paid service for private node module hosting but as a user within an enterprise, additional service buy-in is a tough sell.
