Build not triggered by tags

I have the very same problem mentioned on Issue BCLOUD-13738

I tried this configuration, but the pipeline is never triggered.

 pipelines:
   tags:
     v*:
       - step:
           script:
            - echo "ciao"

What am I doing wrong?
