Summary

When an account is on its plan limit, an admin cannot change a repo's Access type for a User or User group

Environment to reproduce

Team account: TeamA
One repository only in the team: repoA

User groups:

Administrators:

• User1
• User2

Developers:

• User3

Developers2:

• User4

All user groups have access to the repository.
Additionally, user5 has direct Write repo access.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go the repoA >> Settings >> User and group access
2. Try to change user5's access from Write to Read

Additionally:

Try to change one of the user groups' access

Expected Results

The Access type of the User or User group in questions changes accordingly

Actual Results

The Access type doesn't change and the following error occurs:

Workaround

In case you are trying to change a User's access type:

1. Remove a User group from the repo
2. You should be able to change the user's access type now
3. Add the User group you removed in step 1 back to the repo
