Multiple tab indentation not rendered properly in Firefox (BBCDEV-7103)

Issue #14294 resolved
Deric Lee
created an issue

Tested with Firefox 53

  1. Create a file
  2. Select TABS as indentation
  3. Use multiple indentation in the file
  4. View the file in Chrome and Firefox

Firefox only renders up to the first indentation. Subsequent indentation is not rendered.

Only affect is TABS is used for indentation. Space indentations works fine.

Removing this from CSS solves the issue

letter-spacing: -.005em;

    honestly, for me it's something critics, because without that it's impossible to make good PR review and the fix is pretty easy (removing a css rule)

    welll atlassian take his time for a very painful but simple to fix bug ... so if you use greasmonkey, here is a fix as userscript :

    // ==UserScript==
    // @name        BItbucket tab fixer
    // @namespace   grummfy/bb-tab-fix
    // @include     https://bitbucket.org/*
    // @version     1
    // @grant       none
    // ==/UserScript==

    $('body').css('letter-spacing', 'inherit');
