Ability to suppress the sync action for forked repositories

It'll be great to have the ability to suppress the sync action for forked repositories in case users want the repositories to go completely separate ways, and therefore it is desirable to break the link between them.

While cloning it into a new repository is possible, however users may not want to "break the Fork" of which many people like to see for many reasons.
