Backslash character prepended to Pull Request Description field

Steps to reproduce issue:

1. Create a new pull request
2. Enter a single-quote character as the first character of the Description field
3. Click "Create Pull Request"

Actual Results: First character of the Description field is now a backslash character. The single-quote follows the backslash immediately.

Expected Results: First character of the Description field should still be a single-quote.
