Impossible transfer repo to another account

Hi!
I have a problem transferring a repository to another account and I hope this is the right place. I open the settings tab, click on "Transfer repository", insert the name or email of the new owner, and finally click on "Transfer". But nothing happens, the page gives no feedback and no emails about the transfer request or confirmation arrive.
How can I transfer a repo?
