Markdown list not rendered properly

Issue #15654 resolved
Paweł Skuza created an issue

Hi, I have some .md files in my repo, there is piece of code form one of files.

#### Prefork
Calculation for values are follows:
* Memory reserve for Database (MDB): 1024MB
* Memory reserve for OS (MOS): 10% of RAM
* Average Process Size (APS): ~20MB

Memory for Apache (MA) = RAM * 1024 - (MDB + MOS)\
MaxClients = MA/APS

I expect result like in attachment "markdow-expectation.jpg", this is preview from PhpStorm, but when I push code to repo result is like in attachment "markdown-result.jpg" I was trying '-', '+' and '*', same results.

We see that unsorted list is not rendered properly. Sometimes I have problem with new line too, you can see it in "markdown-result.jpg"

Regards

    Hi Pawel,

    I hope I am understanding correctly, but it seems part of the problem is due to the lack of an extra line which is standard in markdown. (see below)

    In regards to your last line, I haven't seen the backslash used to create a line break before.

    I am going to mark this issue as resolved, if you continue to see markdown problems, please leave a comment and further examples, so I can dive deeper into the issue.
