Push banner causes color issue in gnu screen

The latest push banner is causing issues with screen inverting the status bar colors and setting the cursor to zero width, ignoring that it is so many lines that it eats a whole screen buffer.

Can we please stop with the push banners that take up whole screen buffers and
leave the cutesy stuff off the enterprise and paid products please?

It brings no value and is causing issues.
