Not able to delete Atlassian account

I cannot delete my Attlassian account. Furthermore, in Bitbucket Account Settings there's a link in 'Update your avatar, full name, email address, and password through your Atlassian account' which cannot be accomplished, since I log-in via gmail. In addition, changing a password makes no sense at all since Google is the credentials authority and it will never allow for third party to change such info.
And all this happens when I want to clone a repo. Even Sourcetree asks for email/password to access a remote repo, that is a bitbucket one.
Amy solution?
