GitHub have this feature - you can put all the GitHub specific files to the
.github/ folder of your project.
bitbucket-pipelines.yml is Bitbucket specific file. Can pipelines search for its YML file in the
.bitbucket/pipelines.yml location too?
Why this is a good feature.
- I have two shell files per project -
.bitbucket/pipelines-deploy.sh. I wish I could put the YML file into the same folder.
- If they all in the same folder - I can safely put them into the git subrepo, or npm package, or else. Basically, this would allow me to write the scripts once and reuse! Otherwise, I have to go through all my repos and update the three files as needed, which is time consuming.
