Issue #1687 resolved

I'm having some trouble reading this site (as my eyes are not that young anymore). It's the color of the fonts. Those soft-toned pastel colors make certain pages hard to read, for me at least (and maybe some others too).

Here's a list of pages I'd like to see improved : Overview, Downloads, Source, Changesets (and sub-pages). Issues is ok, except if an issue contains code paste in it. Then the code-coloring is too soft too. (There may be others I haven't discovered yet.)

So my request may not be top priority concerning functionality, but some means to choose more contrasting colors would be very welcome.

    Hi guys,

I'd like to see the overall user interface and fonts used greatly improved. I too am a vision impaired user (with <1% sight) and it is very hard to distinguish between bold and normal font faces in wiki rendered markup (for example).

I think a different font needs to be used in general.

Please bump up this issue in priority as this would make usability of bitbucket much muh better :)

    cheers James Mills (prologic)

Yes it is, thanks for the changes, much appreciated.

There is only the color template for the (Python) code I don't really like yet, because of still too many soft colors. The thing I can suggest there is offering people (with an account) the possibility to choose/modify their own coloring sheme for viewing the code.
