YML editor points to a syntax error even though there is none

When attempting to validate a command such as

- "for file in $(find . -name "*.c"); do curl -X POST \"<path>\" -H \"X-NuGet-ApiKey: <API_key>" -T; done"

on the online editor, the YML file points to this line as if there was a Syntax error in it even though this runs fine on bash/terminal.
