Impossible to merge or delete branch

Hi,
I've created a branch with the name 'bug/jcosta/#2937' and now i can´t merge or delete the branch. I understand that the problem is generated because of the '#' existent in the name but now, i do not know how to fix it. Meanwhile i created a new branch to replace this one with success, so I'm waiting to a solution to delete the branch with the problem.
