using POST request for repository src to include about 300 files in one commit fails with 500

POSTing a collection of files to the /2.0/repositories/

/src endpoint allows these files to be created in a repository in a single commit.
However having large requests consistently fail (example 300 files which are worth 20 MB of data) , with the user getting a 500 Something went wrong"
