Option to auto-unpause next deploy

Issue #18090 duplicate
Brad Bennett
created an issue

Scenario:
Commits A, B, C in master in close succession.
master set to auto-deploy to production using pipelines.

Current behavior:
While A is deploying, deploys for B and C are paused automatically.
B and C have to be manually unpaused after A is done.

Desired behavior (perhaps optionally):
While A is deploying, deploys for B and C are paused automatically.
When A is done, B automatically starts.
When B is done, C automatically starts.

Basically, I want the deploys to be queued. This is a typical continuous deployment scenario IME.

    Hey @Brad Bennett,

Thanks for reaching out and for the suggestion. I can definitely see the value in having this functionality inbuilt. We're currently tracking this feature request on issue #16304. I encourage you to vote for / watch that issue if it's something that you're interested in.

Given our current priorities however, this is unlikely to be something to support in the next couple of months. We'll reevaluate this ticket and our priorities towards the middle of the year.

I've been trying to get a solution for this and I am in an endless loop of "was marked as a duplicate of this issue".

I just want the concurrency to work and my paused pipelines to be triggered automatically. I cant be doing this manually. This feels like just a solution which does only works on the development head.
