Description
I was editing a .js file using the code editor on the Bitbucket website. After committing, it turned out that Bitbucket did not only change the line I edited myself, but it also changed a line which contained the following code:
#!javascript if (error.message !== "Property “fill” doesn't exist :") {
The angled quote characters in this string were automatically changed to other characters, which were then represented in my browser by the infamous diamond-with-question-mark characters.
Obviously, this is a bug. The editor should not change a single character on lines I did not explicitly edit myself.
