Creating a branch on Bitbucket Cloud from Jira times out

If I click on "Create Branch" on my Jira Ticket and select Bitbucket Cloud , it hangs and then eventually times out.

This has been happening for over a month now . I have been creating the branches manually all this while hoping it will get noticed and fixed
