Description
Sync and merge commits increase ahead/behind counter on target/source branch.
For example:
Create a production branch from master
Commit change A to master -> production is 1 behind master
Sync production -> production is 1 ahead master
Commit change B to master -> production is 1 behind / 1 ahead master
Sync production -> production is 2 ahead master
This is misleading as even though both branches are equal, the ahead/behind counters are not reflecting the real value.
