Cannot search for branch when creating a new branch

I want to create a branch from my master branch.

From the Create Branch page, I search for 'master'. There are a large number of branches with names like <prefix>-master and only the first 10 matching branches are displayed in the dropdown, but not my master branch. A message displays at the end of the dropdown prompting me to 'Type to Filter…'. however, I’ve already typed out the full branch name.

Suggest listing exact matches first.
