Pipeline report XML generate from Cucumber-js is not supported

Summary

User report generated from Cucumber-js is not supported because it's missing "id and type" in the parameter.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Generate a pipeline test report from Cucumber-js
  2. Pipeline found the report
  3. No report is shown after build finished

Expected Results

Expected pipeline report not to be strict with a missing parameter

Actual Results

Failed to parse the XML report in pipeline build

    There’s a work around for this but it’s not very pretty. It would be a better experience for your customers using JS platforms to have this work out of the box.

    Thanks for reaching out.

    We currently have an open ticket tracking the request to make the test report parser ‘less strict' when looking for reports to surface in the Pipelines UI. I encourage you to vote for / watch issue #17369 if it’s something that you’re interested in. I’ll also add a comment to that issue that this request specifically talks about Cucumber.

    Given the low interest in the issue so far and our current priorities however, it’s unlikely that we’ll work on improving this within the next few months.
