User level restrictions to run the bit-bucket deployment pipeline.

Issue #18706 new
Sravan Manne created an issue

Hello Bit bucket Team,

We were exploring the possibility of using Bit bucket pipelines for our deployment automation efforts of one of our JS projects.

We hit a roadblock at the user level restrictions for running a deployment.

So far, we’ve found out that for a Bit-bucket premium account, only the user with write permissions to a repository will have access to deploy the code as well.

This goes against our organization’s security compliance requirement, which roughly translates as person who commits code should not be able to deploy code.

The way our org is structured,we would like to know if there is a user management feature we are missing where we have the flexibility to configure user groups/permissions independently.
