Pull request comments get hidden after changes

When a pull request is submitted and is code reviewed comments are added to modify the code. When the code is modified and pushed the comments disappear from the diff and instead one has to go to “Activity” tab to see them again.

A nice feature would be to have the option of keeping the comments visible even when the lines are changed. That way, the reviewer can review the code faster and make sure that what was commented corresponds with the new change.

As the PR author it is also useful when the comments are still there to make sure all comments are addressed. It even happened to me last year that a senior developer thought I’d hid a comment instead of addressing it, which gave me a good idea for the future
