Removing a reviewer who has accepted a PR

I was listed as a reviewer on a pull request, and accepted the PR.

Later, I wanted to remove myself as a reviewer. I edited the PR and deleted myself from the reviewers, but when I saved the changes, I still appeared as a reviewer. I did this multiple times to no avail, until I tried cancelling my accept of the PR. I disappeared as a reviewer immediately, even without removing myself again.

It looks like someone who has accepted the PR but is no longer a reviewer still appears as a reviewer, even in the “edit PR” view. This is very confusing.
