Problem to push the repository

Tux
created an issue

Hi !

I have a big problem on my repository. I want to push some modification but the answer is

searching for changes abandon : HTTP Error 504: Gateway Time-out

Maybe you can do something ?

Repository : tc2woetemp and it's the same for tc2woe.

Thanks Tux

    @visiontest,

I've checked out your repo, and I don't see any issues with it. Could you try again? If HTTP fails, SSH may give you more details, which would help us as well.

Tux, your repo should work fine now.

Hi, I am not able to push my local Mercurial repository into bitbucket. Everything is working fine locally; I am able to commit my changes, etc.

However, when I try to perform an hg push, after authentication, it is stuck on: "searching for changes"

E:>hg push https://kidcoconut@bitbucket.org/kidcoconut/ecloud pushing to https://kidcoconut@bitbucket.org/kidcoconut/ecloud http authorization required for https://bitbucket.org/kidcoconut/ecloud realm: Bitbucket.org HTTP user: kidcoconut password: searching for changes

No error messages. I assumed that maybe it is just taking a long time, but after several attempts and no indication of success/fail, I think something is wrong.

Q: Does this look familiar to any issues you have seen before? Q: Is there a verbose mode that I can run this in to see if there is a particular file it is having trouble with?

    Any help appreciated ...

Update: - Not sure if I am posting this request in the right place, as the problem is more tied to Tortoise HG than Bitbucket proper.

    • when I run an hg summary, there is an abort message stating that a filename, directory, or volume name syntax is incorrect.

    • I am looking for guidance on syntax and limitations; I can adjust my nomenclature if required.

    • I have seen a handful of posts online that state that this might be a bug with Tortoise HG and/or a plugin for Windows which is performing string concatenation. I read that internally, the path that it is constructing is incorrect.

[Update] - I removed the offending file and sub-directories (they were supporting files, not critical anyway) - I was able to perform a full commit without any errors - confirmed with hg summary that the repository state was not unhealthy - am running hg push to bitbucket, and it is still stuck on 'searching for changes'

    What now?
