Tried to change own username, but someone else's ended up changed (BB-484)

I tried to change my username to 'mkontag' via my account settings page. The change did not persist (my username is currently still 'kmontag', but another member who has access to some of my private repositories seems to have had his username changed - he now shows up as 'mkontag' in feeds, and can only log in as 'mkontag'.

Additionally, I can no longer view any of my repositories (http://bitbucket.org/kmontag/[repo-name] gives a permanent "Creating your repository" message, and http://bitbucket.org/mkontag/[repo-name] gives a not-found page). Direct links to e.g. issues in my repositories give an error page.

I'm not sure if it's related, but just before I changed my username, I tried to upgrade my account and kept getting an "invalid username and email address combination" message on the Atlassian shopping cart.
