(Synonyms for the sake of searching.)
Currently attachments can be added to issues but not deleted. While generally deleting attachments is a bad idea for the same reason that rewriting repository history is a bad idea, occasionally attachments might contain something unwanted like (shamelessly using the example from http://mercurial.selenic.com/wiki/EditingHistory) launch codes for nuclear weapons and it is actually desirable to delete them. Of course corrected ones should be uploaded instead, but the issue is that Bitbucket does not seem to allow attachment deletion in the first place.
Therefore, can an ability to delete attachments be added, at least for the owner of the repository? Or perhaps an option to overwrite an existing attachment when uploading a new one.
