Issue #3087 resolved

List of accessible private repositories (BB-2821)

Hugues Lismonde
created an issue

We're planning on using BB with one master account creating all our private repositories and giving developers access to them.

The thing is, even if one has access to a repository, since it's not his, it doesn't appear anywhere except in the feed (which get pushed down when other things happens) or in the recent repositories (same issue).

This means the only way to list theses repositories is by going to the master account page.

It would be great if we could see all repositories we have access to in the repositories page along with ours.

Thanks, Hugues

Agree. We've actually been experimenting a bit with ways to improve repo navigation and that was part of that. Now that our Git support has been released, we should be able to allocate some more time to general UI and usability issues.

    Hi Hugues,

I certainly agree that we can present the information better but, you do have the list you are asking for on your dashboard.

The list of repositories on the right hand side presents all repositories you follow or have direct access to.

Am I misunderstanding what you are looking for? Is that list what you need?

    Well, yes and no.

It will have to do but it's not exactly what I seek.

First I'd rather have this: http://cl.ly/1N253n3q1p0z1M3G3h3p than this: http://cl.ly/3M3r0x1t2q082U2e2Q3P

Then, I have to follow every single repositories to access them easily which will put a lot of things in my feed. We are a web agency so we will have a lot of (small) repositories. I'd rather follow only the few projects I'm working on right now but still keep quick access to the others.

I don't know if it's clear enough. Just let me know and I'll try to explain better.

    Cheers, Hugues

    Hi Hugues,

I understand what you are saying.

We are planning on reworking the UI/UX of the dashboard.

I am glad you have a way to navigate to repos for now and we will certainly work on improving that experience.
